Let’s talk, Barbie

A small garden pond in the front yard of a house in Washington D.C. has become a daily attraction for the neighbourhood with its ever-changing tableaux depicting current events.

For over ten years, the ‘Barbie Pond’ has featured a collection of Barbie (and Ken) dolls hanging out, staged and dressed appropriately for seasonal holidays, political or social commentary.

Hugo Alexander have been my property manager and I have been extremely happy with their service. I recently sold one of my QLD properties and Adam and Trent worked hard to prepare our house for sale and 12 days on the market sold for higher than we expected. Adam and Trent were fantastic to work with, they were positive, energetic and most importantly honest. They communicated with me throughout the whole preparation and selling process and we couldn't be happier with the results. The team at Hugo Alexexandar Property Group delivered exceptional service from start to finish.My experience began with Ali Imran, who helped me secure a rental property on short notice. I needed a place within a month, and Ali assisted me in finding one within a week of submitting my inquiry.My second experience was with Karen Richardson, who assisted me with general inquiries and requests. She and the team were incredibly accommodating. For instance, when one of my roommates requested additional lighting at the entrance, Karen arranged to have a spotlight installed. She was considerate of everyone’s busy schedules when scheduling inspections, and she and the team routinely installed appliances that boosted our security, enhancing our overall stay.Lastly, I interacted with Jamey Miller regarding my unanticipated cancellation of the lease, originally set to expire in seven months. Given the unexpected change, Jamey handled everything professionally, recognizing the urgency of my situation. She took care of arranging the bond and steam cleaning on my behalf, as I had relocated abroad. Understanding my financial constraints due to the move, Jamey suggested practical financial strategies to alleviate the pressure. Since I was responsible for the rent until a new tenant was found, Jamey and her team made a significant effort to secure a replacement tenant quickly, just days after my departure. Their prompt action not only removed the burden of paying rent for the next seven months but also alleviated the stress of managing this commitment from abroad.Thank you, Jamey, Karen, Ali, and the team at Hugo, for an amazing experience from start to end.

It's early days yet, but so far my experience with the Hugo Alexander Property Group has been extremely positive. The gentleman processing my application (sorry I didn't catch his name) was friendly and respectful and answered my questions about the new rental laws with candour. Just easy to talk things over and aid in my decision, and my application was approved within the hour.When picking up the keys and signing the lease, my property manager Leisa went over each point thoroughly and took the time to explain my rights to me. I really felt she was in my corner, which is refreshing in such a "seller's" market. She also actioned my first request within minutes.Probably the best Brisbane real estate agent I've dealt with.

my family and I have rented with Hugo Alexander property group for 1 year now, our first rental being in Australia as we moved from NZ. We are first time renters and a one income household, I went to a house viewing and Ali said he believes in everyone getting a chance.Our property manager now is Cathy Elias and she is amazing. It is very difficult to find a property manager who actually cares about his rental properties under his management and the wellbeing of his clients. I find many property managers are inexperienced and are just doing their time as a property manager. Cavell Cooper is fantastic and I have followed him to his new agency. I would highly recommend Cavell Cooper as he shows attention to detail, is very thorough and is really good at what he does.

I , as a would be vendor some day ,meet Adam some 2 years ago .He did an Appraisal .He provided ideas how to complete the renovations and redecorating that was in progress. Moving on to mid 2018 , I decided to sell my 20 yo Townhouse in Highgate Hill ,Brisbane. There was no hesitation to enlist Adam's help ;aided by his associate Trent.I felt part of a team and confident Adam his team and company would act professionally for all stakeholders.An Auction Marketing plan of just 3 and half weeks brought very sound results .My buyer's and their legal representation were assisted before and post the Sale.
