Anzac Day (25th April) falls on Sunday this year, leaving many wondering whether Monday is a public holiday.
Turns out, it is and it isn’t, depending on where you live. After some states decided a few years ago that the holiday belongs with the date, regardless of the day of the week, we now have discrepancies around the country.
In short, Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania will not enjoy a public holiday on Monday. All other states and territories will.
