Standing at the window of the local real estate agency with his grandfather, a young Adam Nobel looked in awe at the incredible properties for sale. His dream was to own as many as he could. His love for property grew as he poured over the Home Beautiful magazines his mum left on the coffee table, filling folio books with clippings, designing the perfect homes, and attending property investment seminars.
Graduating from Griffith University with a degree in international business, and QUT with a Master’s degree majoring in consumer psychology and advertising, Adam immersed himself in learning how to present products that appealed to people’s emotions. Travelling the world, creating impactful brands, he invested in his own property investment portfolio as he honed his skills in the advertising world.
After selling his thriving advertising agency, Adam was determined to make his childhood dream of working in the real estate industry come true. Opening the daily paper to the real estate section, he scoured the pages, eager to transition his love for property into a career in real estate. The number one real estate agent in Brisbane stood out … so he approached her and successfully pitched for a job. Coupled with his skills in advertising and understanding the consumer mind, Adam thrived as part of the team, twice winning a Best Agency REIA Award and continuously smashing sales records.
Yet, he felt something was missing. Looking around the industry, he saw a space for an independent agency steeped in values, client centric service, and a desire to make clients more profitable. In 2018, he opened Hugo Alexander Property Group, his hat tip to one of his highest values – family, naming the agency after his two boys.

Rebecca grew up in a small town with streams, mountains, and castles in Germany. Her architect father designed homes and large scale public buildings in Europe and the Middle East, such as the Frankfurt Airport, and her family’s homes. Her mother ran a neighbourhood shop, attracting young and old through her personable manner. By getting to know every customer, she picked unique products and services that no one else had thought of. Watching her father and mother work in their home businesses, sowed the seeds for her appreciation for design, people and customer service and how it can transform peoples’ lives through spaces and experiences.
At 17 years old, Rebecca set out to broaden her horizons, and moved abroad to the USA to pursue her academic studies and launch her career in management consulting. Rebecca holds an Executive Master degree in Change, integrating Business and Clinical Psychology studies, from INSEAD Business School in Singapore, which has produced the second most CEOs of the 500 largest companies globally, only after Harvard Business School. She also holds a certificate in Innovating in the Age of Disruption from INSEAD, a Bachelor in Asian Studies, and a Global Management Certificate from Brigham Young University in the USA.
Over the past 16 years, Rebecca has been based out of Brisbane, Bangkok, Singapore, London, New York and San Francisco. She has run her own businesses, has held leadership roles with Accenture, McKinsey projects, and in house. She has an impressive success record of achieving transformational change for her clients. She has coached C-Level executives and consulted FTSE 100 companies, such as Barclays, British Telecom, Unilever, Standard Chartered Bank, Royal Dutch Shell, Prudential, and Vodaphone and has collaborated with her professional network from Google, Facebook, and Netflix on achieving transformational change and exponential growth for people and businesses.

In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities with her partner Adam (our Principal) and their three children Zoe, Alex and Hugo, savouring artisanal coffees and pastries, designing textile products for her social enterprise, hunting down the best vintage finds and antiques in Brisbane, and beautifying their Hawthorne home.

Prior to entering the real estate industry, Julia honed her skills in customer service as a private banking consultant.
Her lifelong interest in property was instilled by her architect father. He studied architecture when Julia was a young child, and she has fond memories of accompanying her father to visit landmarks in QLD and watch him complete grand designs in architecture and prepare for his QUT lectures in the history of architecture.
In our growing Property Management team, Julia works alongside Lisa, Corey, Rebecca, and Adam to service our investor clients, and to inform and onboard new clients.
From an early age, Julia has also had a strong affinity for traveling, experiencing new cultures and connecting with interesting people.
