It might be croaks, barks, whistles or bleats, but every frog species makes a unique sound. If you’re lucky enough to have some of these noisy neighbours, Australia’s scientists are hoping you’ll ‘report’ them.
FrogID Week (12-21 November) is held annually for Australian citizen scientists to help record frog calls through the free FrogID app. The aim is to monitor frog distributions over time, helping us all to understand how frogs and their ecosystems are responding to our changing planet.
