It might only appeal to a certain type of buyer, but a sea fort built by the British during World War I to accommodate 200 soldiers defending the country, is going to auction for the first time.
Known as Bull Sand Fort and resembling a cross between Mad Max and Water World, the three-story concrete fort includes a basement and chamber below sea level, as well as a 2-story observation tower. Bidding will start at $60,000, according to the auctioneers at Savills.
