Builders in China have erected a modular 10-storey apartment block in just over a day, according to a time-lapse video released by the company.
The building was assembled from standard container-sized modular units made in a factory by Changsha-based Broad Group. The modules were transported to the site with all the electric and internal finishes in place, to ensure rapid installation.
“Extremely simple onsite installation: Just tighten bolts and connect water and electricity”, the company claims, adding that they are ‘producing buildings like cars’!
