Are you an avid book collector? Some of us have so many books that shelves are filled to overflowing and then piles start appearing on side tables and even the floor.
If that is you, that’s fine, no judgement, but when your home is on the market, consider packing half your collection away before the first open-for-inspection. Use the cleared space to rearrange the remaining books, display some art or just leave it bare; buyers will see space for their own things.
