What does an out-of-work designer do while in lockdown for months on end? UK artist Eva Gilder-Hodgson decided to re-use all the scrap plastic she found and turn it into sustainable furniture.
Her new venture, the Bristol Plastic Factory, now collects waste plastic – especially bottle tops – from her community and transforms it into products with ‘endless lifecycles’, bringing together design and technology to ‘make beautiful things out of recycled waste’.
