We decided to take this property to auction and went to the Courier Mail to advertise it. This is because Bowen Hills is not usually a suburb that buyers will look in as their first or only choice. We new that our buyer was more likely to be a New Farm, Teneriffe or even Hamilton buyer. We wanted to get their attention and show them how much better value they can get by considering another option that is only 1-2 km’s away. This strategy worked and the buyer did in fact come through the Courier Mail and was looking in New Farm and Teneriffe.
This sale was very pleasing as it sold for $150,000 more than what my competitors had priced it at and was also the new building and suburb record for a 3 bed unit by $150,000. This is yet another example of my selling process working in any suburb.
