There’s no doubting that Cicadas are back in full voice this year – but have you seen any Christmas Beetles yet?
Both scientific and anecdotal reports suggest that Christmas Beetles have not been showing up over last few years in the numbers we are used to seeing in the past. If you find some of the iridescent, delightful creatures, take photos and let the scientists know at inaturalist.org, so they can keep track.
