What’s the point of a lounge chair you can’t lounge in? That question could have inspired the innovative Puffy Lounge Chair, which has been shortlisted in the seating design category of the latest Dezeen Awards.
Created by British designer Faye Toogood for Swedish furniture brand Hem, the chair has a single plump, detachable cushion that spills over the arms and back of the metal base, leading one reviewer to observe that ‘if a security blanket was a chair, then this would be the result’.
