Matthew’s entrepreneurial spirit, obsession with research and passion for exclusive property have resulted in a natural progression from quantity surveyor and property developer, to founding director of Asset Economics and now lead sales agent partnering with Hugo Alexander.

Whilst the progression from quantity surveyor to real estate agent may seem unusual to some, to Matthew it feels completely natural. Having acquired, built, renovated and sold many of his own properties, as well as developing many projects, he has always loved the process and enjoyed the capital gain. He feels like it is time to focus on selling property and enjoying working directly with sellers to help them get the best outcomes from their sale. In his words, it is time to focus on my passion.

Matthew has over 20 years’ experience in property sales and developments across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast areas.

He has an established network of leading property professionals including developers, architects, designers and trade specialists and expertly advises clients on the best practice approach to maximise their sales potential.

When Matthew is not working he loves coaching his two sons’ Aussie Rules team and spending time outdoors enjoying a quintessential Queensland family lifestyle. He’s an experienced traveller who has visited over 70 countries, and enjoys immersing himself in local communities and culture.
