Unlike previous winners, this year’s Cuprinol Shed of the Year is a garden shed that could look at-home in any Australian backyard.
The winning entry makes use of unusual and ‘disregarded’ materials, such as corrugated metal from an old stable roof, and windows from a recently-demolished chapel. The owner then decorated it inside and out with hand-painted vintage signs in a style he calls ‘industrial, ghost town chic’.
Past winners include an upturned boat, a lockdown ‘pub’, and a roman temple lookalike.
