Canadian tech entrepreneur Marcel Lebrun is putting his money into building a community of tiny homes to provide for those in need.
For the past two years, LeBrun’s factory in Fredericton, New Brunswick, has been churning out one tiny home every four business days in a bid to create the 12 Neighbours gated community of 99 homes together with an enterprise centre with coffee shops, print shop etc. Each home includes a kitchen, living and bedroom areas, full bathroom, deck, solar panels on the roofs and is rented to residents at 30% of their income.
