Australia has its Big Banana, Merino, and Prawn, but would you live in such an icon? Dubai – never one to shirk at outrageous architecture – has announced plans for a skyscraper in the shape of a clothes peg.
Designed by Israeli artist Zygo, the ‘Clothespin Tower’ will house a hotel across half of its 50 floors, while the other 25 levels will offer 300 apartments together with art galleries, restaurants, boutiques, a lounge, a fitness center, and a spa.
