Just in case you have forgotten (or missed all the signs!), this Friday is Valentine’s Day. Instead of those ridiculously-priced roses or chocolates, why not give your loved one a unique, lasting gift this year? Here are some ideas for houseplants with heart-shaped leaves.
Possibly the most romantic is the Anthurium, which not only has heart-shaped leaves, but takes it up a notch by producing heart-shaped flowers in pinks and reds. Other houseplants with heart-shaped foliage include Cyclamen, String of Hearts vine (Ceropegia woodii), Hemionitis (‘the Heart Fern’) or the more robust English Ivy.
