The world’s richest cities – those with the most millionaires – were named this week, and four are in Australia.
Wealth migration firm Henley and Partners has just released its annual World’s Wealthiest Cities Report, placing New York at the top, followed by the Bay Area (Silicon Valley), Tokyo, Singapore and London.
Sydney jumped to 8th place this year, up from 10th in 2023 – not really surprising, given the prices people are paying for premium property there. Melbourne was ranked 15th, with Perth and Brisbane showing up in 34th and 42nd places, respectively.
