Australia’s festival of pre-loved stuff is on again, as we go into the final weekend of the annual Garage Sale Trail.
With over 1,748,538 items listed in more than 12,369 virtual and community garage sales nationally, the Trail offers plenty of opportunities to recycle and re-use your stuff or find the ultimate pre-loved gem.
In 2020, over 250,000 Australians hosted a garage sale or shopped the Trail. Together, they extended the life of over 1.5 million kgs of stuff saving these items from landfill and maximising the value of all the energy and resources that go into making the stuff we buy.
